American Legion Post 67 is being revitalized. A number of Legionnaires have transferred to 67 to once again make this post an asset to Bridgton.
Over the years Bridgton’s American Legion Post 67 has been reduced to a handful of older members. A group of members from Post 155 in Naples have answered the call to revitalize post 67 and once again make it an asset to the community. For the most part this has been spearheaded by the American Legion Riders. The “Riders” https://www.legion.org/riders are comprised of all three branches of the American Legion, the Legion members themselves along with the Sons of The Legion and the Legion Auxiliary.
We have our work cut out for us right out of the gate. In the Spring of 2019 we will be bringing the post home on Depot St back to a useable condition. Things like getting the water back into the building and repainting.
